WRC II Extreme is the sequel to WRC World Rally Championship, in a series officially sponsored by the FIA. The game features improved graphics and visible damage to the cars. All 14 official WRC events are available to race on, from Monte Carlo to Kenya to Argentina. Over 800 kilometers of track to race on are available, from mountains to forests to snow, all created from satellite data.

Pelt along approximately 800km of dirt, mud, snow and asphalt in the some of the harshest conditions imaginable - this is truly a battle between man, machine and the (extremely dangerous) elements. Each of the 14 featured countries offers its own set of unique environmental challenges, be it the terrifying bumps and jumps of Cyprus' dirt tracks or Germany's smooth-yet-insanely twisty tarmac roads. You'll also be crashing and bashing your way through the finest stages in Monaco, Sweden, France, Spain, Argentina, Greece, Kenya, Finland, Italy, New Zealand, Australia and the UK.

There are 7 official WRC teams featuring 21 drivers, including the likes of Tommi Makinen, Richard Burns, and Carlos Sainz. Drivers and co-drivers faces have been re-created in game, using facial technology, as have the actual voices of co-drivers. Players can unlock "Extreme" bonus vehicles created by WRC designers for a look at the possible future of rally driving.
