Tuesday is a fast-moving UK crime drama in the vein of Inside Man and sees Philip Glenister and Life on Mars co-star John Simm ditch their TV police personas and take on the characters of ruthless career criminals
Seen through different perspectives and flashbacks, the rapid-fire plot is unravelled by the suspects via a series of police interrogations.
The story takes place over the course of a day in 1980s London. The city is adapting to new technologies in finance, music, computer games... and bank security. By coincidence, four
experienced criminals, two beautiful bank clerks and one desperate penniless man nearing retirement decide to rob the same bank on the same day. Two detectives must piece together seemingly unrelated people and clues and determine who really stole the Meidan-i-Noor - an emerald the size of a fist. The the big question is - who got away with it? Getting a reliable answer might not be that easy, as everyone has their own version of events.
