Togainu no Chi is a monumental work in the BL (Boys love) or Shounen-ai genre. It takes place in an apocalyptic world where Japan is destroyed by the Third World War. Order no longer exist in the society and what rules the land is jungle law and the criminal organization Vischio.Akira, the protagonist has been falsely accused and jailed for manslaughter, in exchange for his freedom, he has to enter a deadly tournament called Igura, where the winner will climb to the top spot of the criminal organization Vischio.It is through wandering through the streets of the fallen city and participating in the Igura games that Akira finds friendship, hate, betrayal and despair, and eventually love.
