Melissa is intrigued when she meets the handsome and flirtatious
Charlie Remick, a construction worker whom she treats for an injury.
When Melissa catches her father in a passionate embrace with another
woman, she is confused by his betrayal of her mother Julie, and seeks
comfort in Charlie's arms.
Charlie quickly gains the trust and love of Melissa, and despite her
father's apparent disapproval of Melissa and Charlie's relationship, they
are quickly engaged. Charlie seems eager to prove his
worthiness as Melissa's husband and develops a plan for a
family-funded business. Unwilling to trust Charlie but eager to
win back the love of his estranged daughter, Ted persuades Julie
that they should invest in the new venture, which quickly gets off
to a lucrative start.
But just as the Brennan family begins to come back together, disaster strikes
Julie is mysteriously murdered. When the police are unable to determine a
motive for the crime, Melissa reluctantly informs them of her father's secret
affair. Coerced into testifying against her father in court, Melissa ensures his
conviction and lifelong imprisonment. Then a chance encounter reveals a clue
to the crime and Melissa begins to question her own judgment. As the trial
nears conclusion, Melissa races against time to find the answers that will set
her father free and soon discovers that the real killer is frighteningly close,
Armed only with her wits and persistence, Melissa must outsmart
a ruthless killer before both she and her father become the next
Victims in a greedy scheme of love, honor and betrayal.

Our team aim to pack, check and dispatch orders within 24 hours of receiving your order Monday to Friday. Where an order is placed after 2pm AEST on Friday it may not be dispatched until Monday. During the Christmas holiday season, orders may take more than 24 hours before dispatch.
Overseas deliveries leave our warehouse every Wednesday.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@retrounit.com.au. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
