Description:
Location: Steps of the Sydney Opera House - Crowd: 26 000 screaming fans - The Year: October 1978"One Hell of a Concert" "When Thin Lizzy played at the Opera House, even the bridge shook" Steve BrittonThe melodic hard rock of Thin Lizzy, with its striking powerchords and r&b underpinning, was pivoted around the irresistible stage charisma of bassist and songwriter Phil Lynott, who was one described as an Ugly Marc Bolan (he also wrote books of poetry!). Lynott helped launch the careers of Gary Moore and Snowy White, who both pursued solo careers after departing Lizzy's ranks. His death robbed rock of one of its most valuable practitioners.Track Listing: 1. Jailbreak; 2. Bad Reputation; 3. Cowboy Song; 4. The Boys Are Back In Town; 5. Waiting For An Alibi; 6.
