This is the story of R.J. Mitchell and his most famous aicraft design that was the only Allied warplane kept in production for the
entire duration of the war with over 40 different versions seeing service. The story of the Spitfire features rare prototype footage which includes air to air film, as well as dramatic combat footage from the Battle of Britain.
Featuring rare archive materials and exclusive interviews, this programme presented and produced by William Woollard - also looks at many of Mitchell's lesser known aircraft designs, including the Walrus and Stranraer flying boats, the 'S' series of racing seaplanes that secured the Schneider Trophy for Britain and the world-beating bomber he was working on at the time of his death which would have been one hundred miles an hour faster than the Lancaster

Overseas deliveries leave our warehouse every Wednesday.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
