A classic western tale of greed and corruption "The Lawless Range" stars John Wayne as John Middleton who arrives in the Pequeno Valley to investigate cattle rustling. He quickly finds himself captive in a cave with a local rancher. Working together the pair manage to escape and uncover a plot by a greedy banker to drive people off their land so he can access the gold mines on their properties.
A rodeo is the setting for the second movie in this John Wayne double feature. In 'The Man From Utah" John Wayne plays a rodeo rider who is asked to lose the competition. Some persuasive tactics are used including a poisoned needle.
