"Tetris 4D" for the Dreamcast is a unique iteration of the classic puzzle game Tetris, renowned for its simple yet addictive gameplay. Released exclusively in Japan, this version brought new features and modes to the traditional Tetris formula. The "4D" in its title refers to the game's new modes and not to any four-dimensional gameplay aspects. Players stack tetrominoes (geometric shapes composed of four square blocks each) to create complete horizontal lines, which then disappear, awarding points and preventing the stack from reaching the top of the play area.
