Finally, after five years in the making, Wildlife is available now. Covering over half a million miles, the crew of Wildlife faced extremes in climates from - 40 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. After withstanding a hurricane, escaping a forest fire, and being lost for days in a blinding snowstorm, this milestone series has set a new standard for wildlife documentaries.
From the frozen Arctic to Africa's pristine Okavango Delta, the award-winning Wildlife brings you face to face with the most fascinating creatures on earth.
Never before has there been such an insightful and timely wildlife series. The cameras of Wildlife tell a compelling story, never shying away from showing the whole picture. From the endearing and playful, to the unexpected and deadly; Wildlife provides an unflinching portrait of animals in the wild with emphasis on endangered species.
Wildlife is hosted by naturalist John Ross, who devoted his life to exploring the natural world and documenting its secret treasures. As a wildlife expert, he provides a unique insider's look into the lives and behaviours of animals in the untamed reaches of the planet.
Join top field biologists from across North America as they dedicate their lives to the pursuit of knowiedge and conservation; tracking and documenting an array of animals in the wild in this exceptional episode.
In this dramatic episode Wildlife examines the hunting techniques of some of nature's most extraordinary wild hunters. The red-tailed racer snake of Southeast Asia hunts and kills a tropical bird. The gila monster and glossy snake track the scent of their quarry with their tongues. The goshawk and prairie falcon use sharp vision to pinpoint prey.
