Steve Iwrin (The Crocodile Hunter) Ocean's Deadliest (DVD, 2007) All Regions.
Please read: This is a region free DVD and works on any DVD player!Ocean's Deadliest is Steve Irwin's last documentary and probably his most powerful
message to the world.
Lurking below the surface of Australia's coastline are some of the most dangerous
animals on the planet. For thousands of years, venomous snakes, saltwater crocodiles
and massive sharks have patrolled these waters. Now, in the hope of studying nature's
most dangerous creations, two adventurers of legendary reputation and pedigree
embark on an epic mission to discover some of the ocean's deadliest.
Steve Irwin is joined by explorer and adventurer Philippe Cousteau, grandson of the
famous oceanographer Jacques Cousteau, in Ocean's Deadliest as they explore the
waters of the northern Cape York Peninsula, the Great Barrier Reef and the Great
Southern Ocean off South Australia.
On this adventure, they join many scientific experts who study these creatures as part
of their vocation. learning the reason why they have evolved with such
dangerous defences and how they fill an important role in the overall ecosystem that
is vital to the ocean's very own survival.
Their adventure features amazing and breathtaking moments, including wrangling a
giant croc in order to attach a satellite tracking device; observing the feeding
behaviour of the great white shark from the safety of a dive cage and working with
the Australian experts who capture deadly sea snakes in order to supply anti-venom
to the rest of the world. Cousteau, who was aboard Croc One with Irwin during the
expedition when he was accidentally struck by a stingray, narrates the documentary.
