A magnificent celebration - a sweet tour through some of the world's exciting music, The opening CD is light-hearted and full of fun and dance. The theme is elation and delight. There are galops, polkas, waltzes and dances from Russia, Norway and Scotland. The second CD admits joyous celebration - triumphal marches, an Ode to Joy and a Chorus of Hallelujah. and Jupiter the Bringer of Jollity. (a tiny quibble - I do not really think that the 4th Movement of Tchaikovsky's 4th Symphony is appropriate here). And then full belt into the 3rd CD entitled Festival. Fast and loud - total jubilation,visiting Russia, Spain,Bohemia and Rome and entering the spirit of carnival. These CDs can lift your mood.
