The BIOHAZARD Dedicated Controller (バイオハザード専用コントローラ baiohazādo sen'yō kontorōra?) is a special-edition PlayStation controller that was released for BIOHAZARD 2 in Japan.

Outside of Japan, the controller was released as the Resident Evil Pad. It was advertized to be compatible with Resident Evil, Resident Evil: Director's Cut, and Resident Evil 2.

The left grip of the controller was designed to be shaped like the handle of a combat knife while the right was shaped like the handle of a Handgun. The handgun grip features a trigger button on the back that is meant to be used as the attack or fire button. The trigger served as a substitute for the Square button.

The button layout featured no actual shoulder buttons, instead placing equivalents for them all on the front-center of the controller. There are two R1 buttons—one in the center and one on the right. The one on the right-hand side is meant to be held down to aim so that the player can press the trigger to attack.

Though it is not shown on the Japanese packaging, the BIOHAZARD Dedicated Controller and its international counterpart both feature a "turbo" toggle that can switch repeated attack actions from a manual input to an automatic one.

The X or "Cross" button is labeled "DASH" on the Japanese controller and "RUN" internationally, as it was meant to be used for running. The Circle and Triangle buttons act as they would on a normal PlayStation controller, though the Circle button is placed opposite of where it would be normally. The controller features no analog sticks.
