Island Marine is building the biggest, deepest offshore oil rig in the world, off the coast of South America. The dive team, led by Ben Laforche (Gregory Harrison), is under pressure to get the job done quickly, but the work is dangerous and the team quits when one of the divers is killed in an accident.
Laforche, struggling to find professional divers willing to undertake such a dangerous job, employs a motley gang of convicts. As work progresses in the brutally macho world of the rig, some of the convicts are injured, but work must continue for the job to be completed on time.
Meanwhile, Helen (Cynthia Sikes), a hot shot New York reporter, has been sent to the oil rig with a film crew to produce commercials for Island Marine. While filming, romance heats up between Helen and Laforche.
Disaster strikes when the oil rig explodes: masculine bravado must give way to acts of extraordinary heroism if the lives of the crew are to be saved from an ocean aflame.

Our team aim to pack, check and dispatch orders within 24 hours of receiving your order Monday to Friday. Where an order is placed after 2pm AEST on Friday it may not be dispatched until Monday. During the Christmas holiday season, orders may take more than 24 hours before dispatch.
Overseas deliveries leave our warehouse every Wednesday.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
