The Pokémon Mini is a handheld game console that was designed and manufactured by Nintendo and themed around the Pokémon media franchise. It is the smallest game system with interchangeable cartridges ever produced by Nintendo, weighing just under two and a half ounces (71 grams). It was first released in North America on November 16, 2001, and was only available for purchase at the Pokémon Center and via its website. This was followed by releases in Japan on December 14, 2001, and in Europe on March 15, 2002.

It features a 96x64 pixel monochrome LCD screen, an internal real-time clock, an infrared port used to facilitate multiplayer gaming, a reed switch for detecting shakes, and a motor used to implement force feedback. Only ten games were released worldwide, half of which were exclusive to Japan and one of which was only unreleased in North America.

The Pokémon Mini was a commercial failure, selling only around 1 million units worldwide. It was discontinued in 2003.

Pokémon Mini-Party is a party game that was released for the Pokémon Mini handheld console in 2001. The game features six mini-games that can be played by up to four players. The mini-games are:

Pikachu's Rocket Start: Players race to see who can get Pikachu to the finish line first.

Slowking's Judge: Players judge a game of tennis.

Chansey's Dribble: Players dribble a ball up a field.

Bellossom's Dance: Players copy Bellossom's dance moves.

Hitmonchan's Boxing: Players shake the console to make Hitmonchan punch.

Sneasel's Fake Out: Players play a two-player game of basketball.
