'The Pinkprint', the new album by this controversial pop artist from Queens, New York, will be released on Friday, December 12. With her striking appearances and videos, she manages to make it to the media time and time again. Nicki Minaj made her definitive breakthrough to the general public in 2012 with her hit single 'Starships', produced by Red One, from the album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded'. In addition to her own albums, she is also known for her featuring on hit singles by David Guetta ('Turn Me On'), Justin Bieber ('Beauty And A Beat') and recently her collaboration with Ariana Grande and Jessie on the monster hit ' Bang Bang'. She also hosted this year's MTV EMA in Glasgow. Speaking of controversial: the video for 'Anaconda', the first single from the new album 'The Pinkprint', immediately caused quite a stir and led to some good imitations online. I cannot guarantee whether this will also apply to the video of the new single 'Bed Of Lies', but what is clear is that we will be hearing a lot more from Nicki Minaj in the near future.
