Legendary rocker Jimmy Barnes has teamed up with The Wiggles for the exciting release of Och Aye The G’nu – a new album and childrens’ book.
With ‘Och Aye the G’Nu’, Jimmy put pen to paper to create a truly unique story, including poems inspired by his cheeky red-haired, blue-eyed grandson, Dylan, and all his grandchildren. The music release also showcases the best of Jimmy teamed up with The Wiggles in an album that will be sure to excite and entertain young audiences all over the world.
‘Och Aye the G’Nu’ was written when Jimmy last visited his homeland of Scotland. And reflecting this Scottish heritage, and with fun illustrations by Kat Chadwick, the story follows G’Nu, a happy young wildebeest who lives in Glasgow Zoo and his best friend, Kangaroo, as they set off on adventures far and wide.

Och Aye the G’Nu is a charming little G’Nu who loves haggis, stew and shortbread too! He also loves to sing and dance!
Created by legendary entertainer Jimmy Barnes, Och Aye the G’Nu was inspired by Jimmy’s cheeky red-haired, blue-eyed grandson. The album was produced by The Wiggles’ creator Anthony Field. Anthony and Jimmy formed their own musical dynamic duo with their love of infectious melodies and music that makes you want to dance. Lachy Wiggle sings beautifully throughout the album, while Jimmy is the voice of his cheeky character Och Aye the G’Nu. Jackie Barnes and Jeff Fatt add to the exciting musical merriment, while Emma and Simon Wiggle are joined by most of the Barnes clan with the latest star of children’s music, Och Aye the G’Nu.
Join Och Aye and march around to “I’m a G’Nu”. Move just like a wildebeest dancing to “Shake Your Shaggy, Shaggy Mane!” Purse your lips and play along with “My G’Nu Kazoo” or stomp around with “I Got New Shoes”. You’ll find so many animals roaming around in a magical Glasgow zoo, but Och Aye’s special friend is Kangaroo, who plays the didgeridoo!

Our team aim to pack, check and dispatch orders within 24 hours of receiving your order Monday to Friday. Where an order is placed after 2pm AEST on Friday it may not be dispatched until Monday. During the Christmas holiday season, orders may take more than 24 hours before dispatch.
Overseas deliveries leave our warehouse every Wednesday.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
