The time is the summer of 1943
The place is the paradise island of the Bahamas.
With blue skies and white sands, far away
from the horrors of the War, the rich white
colonials fill their days with sailing, swimming
and polo.
A regular at this endless round of parties is the
exiled Duke of Windsor, ex King of England, and
presently Governor of this small and remote
island.
Suddenly, this apparent paradise on earth
is shattered by the horrific murder of Sir Harry
Oakes, one of the richest men in the world.
The prime suspect is Alfred de Marigny, a supposed
gigolo and husband of the beautiful Nancy, the 18
year old daughter of Sir Harry Oakes, whom he
married against her father's wishes.
Alfred de Marigny is almost immediately arrested
but in the sensational trial that followed, the
authorities seem over keen to get him convicted.
Was it Alfred de Marigny to inherit his
wife's millions?
- Was it the Mafla to build their casinos and hotels?

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
