In Mister Mosquito, players enter the virtual household of the Yamada family in the role of a tiny, uninvited guest. According to the game's introduction, the title character needs to drink as much blood as he can to be ready for winter, but his suburban hosts are not the most willing donors. In fact, the Yamada family members would like nothing better than to swat him out of existence, once and for all. The rules for survival quickly become clear: Keep hidden, don't get squashed, and watch as the family's frustration level grows.

The game's cartoon-like hero enjoys many abilities of his real-life counterparts. Most notably, he can hover about with great precision and he can suck the blood of unsuspecting human victims. Mister Mosquito is broken into level missions, which take place in different rooms of the Yamada family house. Most missions feature one of the family members involved in a particular task or recreation, initially oblivious to the insect intruder. Mister Mosquito must observe the human character's patterns of behavior in order to figure out how to sneak in for a quick meal at just the right time and place.

Mister Mosquito can interact with a number of objects in each room, such as a light switch, a mobile phone, or a remote control. When the hero flies close enough to them, rectangular reticle appears around such objects, which allows him to hone in and attack. Vulnerable spots on the human characters are similarly distinguished and the hero must be at the right angle to zoom toward these when they appear. If the hero is discovered by a human character, the game switches to a frantic "Battle Mode." Mister Mosquito must then sting one or more "relaxation points" to return the agitated family member to a blissfully unaware state.

You are Mr Moskeeto, an uninvited guest in the Yamada family home. In order to store up enough food for the coming winter, you will need to drink as much of their precious blood as possible while they are in bed, talking on the phone, watching TV, or even taking a bath. Deadly insecticides fill the air and members of the family have the ability to crush you like a bug. They want you dead. Something's gotta give.

* Fly through and explore 12 levels of the Yamada household, searching for victims.

* Use Stealth or prepare for Air Combat as you do deadly battle with the human inhabitants.

* Watch the family's relationship transform as they take their irritation out on each other.
