Description:
Four Harlem friends spend their days hanging out in the 'hood looking for a way to get ahead andderive the power and respect known as Juice. Q (Omar Epps, House) has a plan and hopes to earn his kudos by becoming a famous scratch 'n' mix DJ - giving him some artistic freedom whilst maintaining his street cred. Bishop (Tupac Shakur, Above The Rim) has a grander scheme that is less than noble - an armed robbery - that will involve the participation and co-operation of his tightly-knit crew. Also featuring Queen Latifah (Chicago) and Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction) Juice is the debut feature from acclaimed cinematographer Ernest R. Dickerson (Tales of The Crypt Presents Demon Knight). It is a gritty and powerful morality tale that takes its cue from the streets and pounds along to the tunes and violence of the times.
