A distinguished British cast, headed by 1950s heart-throb Dirk Bogarde (The Servant), lead this compelling WW11 drama from legendary writer/directors Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger. Based on a true story concerning wily Cretan resistance to the occupying German forces, the film details a cunning plot to undermine the aggressors. With only a handful of Cretan resistance fighters, British agents Major Fermor (Bogarde) and Captain Moss (David Oxley) attempt to kidnap the commander of the German army on Crete. But can they also take their polite but dangerous captive off the island and transport him to Egypt? The Germans don't take the attack lying down, and their daring response might take the Brits by surprise.
Featuring a classic score by Mikis Theodorakis (Zorba the Greek), this classy war drama comes from the acclaimed directors of Black Narcissus (1947) and The Red Shoes (1948).

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
