[Series Story] December, 1866, Kyoto--. Yukimura Chizuru, who acts alongside the Shinsengumi, hears rumors of unruly ronin plotting an attack on the Shinsengumi and infiltrates Shimabara disguised as a geisha. The story depicts the Shinsengumi's days of activity in Kyoto as the times change dramatically. [Series Description] The hugely popular Bakumatsu dark fantasy is finally getting an OVA adaptation! The TV anime "Hakuoki" and "Hakuoki: Hekketsuroku," which aired from April 2010, recreated the rich story and worldview of the original game and garnered much attention for their high-quality visuals. The OVA, which reunites the luxurious cast and staff, features episodes that highlight each character, allowing viewers to fully enjoy their individual charms. It can also be called a "character OVA."
