In his twenties, Adam Law embarked on the biggest adventure of his young life when he packed a suitcase or two and his Law degree, and set up shop in Japan Over the next seven years he learned the language, fell in love with a Japanese girl, and was overwhelmed by a food culture that rivals, and arguably sometimes eclipses, all others.
Now Adam returns to Japan for Destination Flavour: Japan. From the frozen ponds of Hokkaido in the north to the southern multicultural island of Okinawa, we follow the much-loved recipe of the first series of Destination Flavour one-on-one encounters with obsessive primary producers, local food legends and master chefs; peppered with recipes that anyone can try in their own kitchen.

Our team aim to pack, check and dispatch orders within 24 hours of receiving your order Monday to Friday. Where an order is placed after 2pm AEST on Friday it may not be dispatched until Monday. During the Christmas holiday season, orders may take more than 24 hours before dispatch.
Overseas deliveries leave our warehouse every Wednesday.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@retrounit.com.au. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
