CURRICULUM CONS| RUCTION 4TH EDITION
Curriculum Construction, 4th edition is a proven quality text. Countless numbers
of readers found the first three editions provided them with the necessary
theoretical and practical knowledge to acquire the curriculum development
skills and understanding critical to their success as teachers. Most keep it as a
valued resource throughout their teaching careers.
Curriculum development involves a very real tension between the 'action' of
designing, iriplementing, experiencing and evaluating the curriculum itself
and the 'context constraints' of the social and political realities under which
curriculum is constructed. Curriculum Construction, 4th edition successfully
guides students through these two interwoven strands.
This new edition has been extensively revised and updated. Discussion of issues
such as the national curriculum, values education, leadership, new reporting
standards and the latest ICT in the classroom make this fourth edition an even
more valuable resource for pre-service and practising teachers.
