This is a very comprehensive book of knitting,and includes all aspects of knitting,stitches,casting on -off,shaping,finishing techniques, and then goes into different types of knitting like mosaic,fair isle, cables ,ganseys ,aran ,picot and filet knitting etc.All in btwn it includes some stitch patterns such as basic knit and purls,raised,twisted,bobbles,fur,lace ,shetland lace etc.and related projects with each stitch type and pattern type as you keep going forward in your craft.its an old printed book,but by no means lacks anything in content.I actually found this book more helpful as compared to some newer books published.If someone likes the simplicity of the last two decades,then this book should not be missed.
