Story
[Story] Japan, now a territory of the Britannian Empire and known as Area 11, is the setting for Lelouch. Lelouch, a student at Ashford Academy, a school for Britannians, is caught in a battle between terrorists and the Britannian army in the Shinjuku Ghetto, where he reunites with his old friend, Suzaku Kururugi, who is in the Britannian army. However, tragedy strikes when a young girl appears before them. Suzaku, trying to protect the girl and Lelouch from the Britannian army, is shot. The girl bestows a certain ability upon the grieving Lelouch.
