Boku no Natsuyasumi: Summer Holiday 20th Century tells the story of a young kid (named Boku) that his father to takes him to spend his summer vacation (the month of August) in the house in the country that his uncle have in the countryside of Hokkaido, the game will advance when the young boy explore the different relationships between the characters and also will learn about the insects and other animals that are around there.

The game takes place in Japan in the year 1975 in a countryside surrounded by mountains and forests. The player will search for insects, go fishing, explore a cave, etc. The different events will be introduced as a sub-event.

The country is reproduced very well and the game features a good degree of freedom. On your own digital summer vacation you can partaking in collecting bugs, helping his family with the farm jobs, swimming and other boyish activities. The goal of the game is to make Boku to have the best summer holidays that he will remember.

The game was released in PSP and got also 2 sequels in the Playstation 2 and Playstation 3 consoles.
