Black & White 2 (PC, 2005) DVD-ROM EA Lionhead Game.

Will you be an evil or benevolent deity? From the creative minds of god game developer Peter Molyneux and RTS-creator Ron Millar comes Black & White 2, the sequel to the critically acclaimed hit Black & White.

In this game, you reprise your role as a powerful deity in search of a following and return to the once idyllic world of Eden, where the discovery of weaponry and warfare has tainted the beautiful landscape. With the help of your gigantic Creature that you raise from infancy, you must earn the respect and worship of the natives. How you choose to do that, whether through nurturing them or terrorizing them, is up to you.

The player will have many choices to make in Black & White 2. Once you and your creature have convinced the people that you are a god, you then have to decide if you are going to impress your believers, building them huge cities that are beautiful and safe, or if are you going terrorize them causing death and destruction by leading vast armies into battle.

Players entering this warring world can opt to nurture and care for their followers building idyllic cities and protecting them with massive walls and gates. And see this following grow as more inhabitants move to their protection. Or they can see their followers as mere cannon fodder and take them into battle to dominate and conquer the land through fear and terror.

The Creature in Black & White 2 has become far more intelligent and will mirror the player's philosophy. He can be a charming pet who looks after and amuses your followers. Or he can be the equivalent of a guard dog whose only instinct is to kill as savagely as possible. But what is a god without miracles? As well as everyday magic to help you rule your domain however you wish, you can resort to the ultimate in magic, the epic miracle which produces devastating or restorative effects depending on your alignment. The epic world of Black & White is yours for the asking. But remember—if you want peace, prepare for war.
