*Autographed By Ken Duncan* Life's an Adventure: The First Twenty-five Years.

This book is for everybody that enjoys and is inspired by Ken Duncan's photography. As an amateur photographer myself, taking my own landscape photographs, I can say without doubt that the source of my passion for taking landscape photos comes from the brilliance of his photography.

By the sheer luck that I started Booktopia in 2004 led me to meet Ken in 2009 and our love of photography, books and other worldly pursuits enabled a friendship to start between us. It has been my humble privilege to hear many of the stories retold in this book from Ken's mouth to my ear. I realise I am very fortunate to have had that opportunity but for those of you who have not I can absolutely guarantee that everything he shared with me is here for all of us to read in this book.

Not only are there stories of triumph and anguish in here but I have the knowledge now which photos are absolute collectibles and they are all in this book for you to enjoy, unfortunately they will never compare to the huge originals but it will give you a taste of something special. Ken publishes all of his books himself and they are given the toughest quality assurance tests you can imagine and are absolutely first rate.

If you ever get a chance to visit one of his galleries then I encourage you to invest in one of his photos. They are inspiring and nurture the soul. Hospitals are even using them to help patients relax and lower their blood pressure.

About the Masters of Light Series

The Masters of Light Series is designed to showcase significant bodies of work by some of Australia's most accomplished landscape photographers. Produced to the highest standards by Ken Duncan's award-winning publishing house Panographs Publishing, each volume seeks to honour one photographer's creative efforts and to preserving a legacy of outstanding photographs for future generations.

About the Author

Ken Duncan OAM, is recognised as one of the world's leading landscape photographers. With every new release of Limited Edition Prints he delights long-time collectors and new fans alike with his own inimitable style of landscape photography.

Ken has worked on several international book projects in such exotic locations as Malaysia, China and Hollywood and for years was the preferred photographer for Australian rock band Midnight Oil. His first solo book was published in 1987, and he later went on to become a publisher in his own right. Since 1992, over 30 individual titles have been released under the Ken Duncan Panographs trademark.

Although Ken prefers the panoramic format - "that's the way we see", he says - he is well versed in a multitude of formats and media. He has even dabbled in cinematography and would like to do more with this medium in the future. He can turn his hand to any type of photography - from portraits to landscapes to 3-D and everything in between - and produce consistently creative results.
