In January 2005, Channel 4 broadcast a unique piece of event television. Now released on double DVD, controversial anatomist Dr. Gunther von Hagens lays bare the intricacy and beauty of the human design and lifts the lid on the mysteries of our own bodies. At the heart of each programme is a human dissection, carried out by controversial anatomist Dr. Gunther von Hagen, and commentary by pathologist Professor John A. Lee.
Anatomy is not a scientific theory or a political fashion. It doesn't change from year to year and its position as the bedrock on which modern medicine has been built doesn't alter.
It is, quite simply, the study of the way we are made.
DVD FEATURES
• Four episodes each centring on a live public autopsy, explaining movement, circulation, digestion and reproduction.
• The Anatomists: Gunther von Hagens. A 50 minute documentary on the controversial Body Worlds exhibition, tracing the history of anatomy, the depiction of the body in art and the use of dissection to entertain as well as to further medical science.

Our team aim to pack, check and dispatch orders within 24 hours of receiving your order Monday to Friday. Where an order is placed after 2pm AEST on Friday it may not be dispatched until Monday. During the Christmas holiday season, orders may take more than 24 hours before dispatch.
Overseas deliveries leave our warehouse every Wednesday.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@retrounit.com.au. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
