You get a full 10 seconds of Shock Resistant Memory, so you can install this receiver in your off-road vehicle, and go crazy — skipping won't be a problem. And, if you're in the mood for radio, Sony's top-of-the-line SSIR-EXA tuner will pull in stations your factory radio only dreamed about getting. D-Bass lets you dial in three levels of bass boost (without affecting the mids and highs) so you can coax every ounce of low-frequency performance out of your speakers.
Your options are wide open with two sets of preamp outputs for adding external amplifiers. And, if a theater-on-the-go is in your future, this receiver will control a Sony mobile video system.
