THE HEROES OF TELEMARK
It is 1942 and Norway is occupied. A roll of
microfilm smuggled from a water factory is the
first clue the Allies have that Germany might be
ahead in the race to create an atomic weapon. The
film tells the true story of a group of Norwegian
resistance fighters who bravely stopped the
Germans' plans by destroying heavy water'
installations in Norway. Staring Kirk Douglas,
Richard Harris and Ulla Jacobsson.
MALTA STORY
"A World War Il pilot photographer is forced to land in Mal-
ta. There he finds himself attached to the local regiment
and on studying aerial photographs he discovers that Italy
is preparing to invade Malta. It is of vital importance that
the island remains under the control of the Allies, and Peter
is the man selected to trace and destroy the enemy convoy.
With Jack Hawkins, Anthony Steel and Muriel Pavlow."
REACH FOR THE SKY
This is the remarkable true story of Douglas Bader,
a pilot who, after a plane crash, is badly injured.
Although doctors expect him to die, he survives but
loses both his legs. As his colleagues prepare for his
horror and devastation, they find instead a determi-
nation in him which refuses to be changed by the ac-
cident. He re-enters the RAF where he is determined
to continue his career as a pilot. Stares Kenneth
More, Muriel Pavlow and Lyndon Brooks.
